DT-13 (1.4 mg/kg) was administered orally 1 h before ligation and 17 h after ligation. Rat IVC tissue around thrombus was isolated and total RNA was prepared for gene expression by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis.
