The present study was curried out to see the effect of exercise and anabolic hormone both separately and together on healthy underweight male students of the age group of 1X-20 years. The parameters chosen for this study were haemoglobin, haematocrit, total serum proteins blood urea and serum cholesterol. They were studied and investigated form weeks for experimental time and 8 weeks for follow-up. period.
The use of anabolic hormone (Methandienone) in addition to exercise was found to be increase haematocrit, haemoglobin and total serum proteins and may decrease blood urea and serum cholesterol., These changes however returned gradually to normal position after the withdrawal of the treatments.
