1. Tridax procumbens (T. P.) was evaluated on various inflammatory models in rats and mice. 2. T. P. has significantly reduced exudate volume leucocyte migration, edema fluid, grannuloma tissue and (-glutamyl transpeptidase, indicates good anti-inflammatory action. 3. T. P. has negligible ulcerogenic property in comparison with NSAIAS. 4. T. P. causes anti-inflammatory activity through inhibiting SRs and PGs.
