1. Tolmetin (10 mg/kg) per se produced hypoglycaemia.
2. On concurrent administration, tolmetin potentiated the glybenclamide induced hypoglycaetnia.
3. It is postulated that the tolmetin hypoglycaemia may be mediated byprostaglandins.
